Event Details

Due to the last-minute demands imposed by the Telegraph's news agenda, we were forced to postpone our event with Claudine Beaumont, technology editor of the Daily Telegraph, which was originally scheduled for Tuesday 12th May.

In its place, we're running a session with Claudine's colleague Matt Warman, who will be talking about what makes a good story pitch for the Telegraph's tech editorial team on Monday 18th May.

Matt has worked on the Telegraph's non-City technology coverage alongside technology editor Claudine Beaumont since 2006.

He previously covered TV, and continues to write TV reviews, for the Telegraph, where he has worked for "slightly less than" 10 years.

Matt's output at the Telegraph focuses heavily on consumer tech. Recent stories have included pieces on Apple, Windows 7 and Barack Obama's Blackberry.

In addition to discussing the Telegraph's consumer tech coverage at Talking Shop, Matt will also offer insights on the paper's overall approach to covering the sector.

We hope you can join us next Monday at this rescheduled event.

NB #1: This event will take place at the London HQ of Waggener Edstrom, but is open to all comers.

NB #2: There has been a slight change to our usual schdule for this event: doors open at 6.30pm (not 6pm). After wine and conversation, Matt will speak from 7.30pm.

NB #3: All tickets booked for our original session on 12th May remain valid for this rescheduled event. If you are unable to join us on the 18th, don't worry: we'll happily refund your payment, or transfer your booking to another event (whichever you prefer!).
